Courtney Parrott
Clinic Operations & Patient Care Coordinator
Courtney is a mama of four, doula, and passionate advocate for holistic wellness, root-cause healing, nervous system health, and the mind-body connection.
Her passion for functional medicine began over 12 years ago through motherhood and her own personal health journey. As she began learning more about the connection between physical and mental health, she quickly became passionate about understanding the body’s innate ability to heal and the importance of supporting the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.
Over the years, she has spent countless hours researching, learning, and applying what she’s discovered through both lived experience and continued education. She believes healing is never one-size-fits-all and is deeply passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, empowered, and more connected to their own bodies.
Known for her nurturing and encouraging nature, Courtney has always felt called to work closely with people in a role centered around care, connection, and empowerment. She feels incredibly honored to work alongside Dr. Krista while continuing to learn and grow in a field she cares so deeply about.
Originally from Florida, Courtney has also lived in Georgia and spent several years living in England, which helped deepen her love for adventure, travel, connection, and experiencing new places and people. But no matter where life has taken her, she has always felt deeply drawn to the mountains and nature. Being outdoors has always felt grounding, life-giving, and like home to her. She and her family later relocated to the Upstate, where she instantly felt connected to the slower pace of life, strong sense of community, and easy access to the mountains she has always loved.
Outside of the office, you can usually find her spending time with her family and children, hiking, exploring small mountain towns and local coffee shops, listening to music, spending time in nature, or moving her body in joyful ways. Nature has always been a place where she feels most at peace, and helping others reconnect with themselves is where she finds the most fulfillment.
In loving memory of our treasured,
